Webcast Summary

A new era of business reinvention is dawning. The next-generation business model is a cognitive enterprise. Fueled by emerging technologies -- from automation and AI to IoT and blockchain -- the cognitive enterprise is opening doors for business architecture change and growth, presenting both challenges and opportunities.

Increasingly, finance leaders are playing a leading role in the digital revolution and supporting the transformation to a cognitive enterprise. The finance organization has become the steward of the data, algorithms, metrics, and benchmarks for the cognitive enterprise. Finance leaders are also taking responsibility for transforming operational processes, cultivating data to deliver top insights, learning best practices for autonomous technology, and implementing strategies to aid in re-inventing their workforces. A finance executive who accepts the challenge will drive his or her organization to achieve success and a sustainable competitive advantage.

During this Webcast, a panel of finance executives will share how each has embarked on a reinvention journey and is embracing the challenges and opportunities offered by today's emerging technologies. We will discuss how finance leaders:

  • Assess opportunities in the cognitive enterprise and how finance leaders play leading roles in the progress of an "inside-out" revolution,
  • Achieve cost clarity, efficiently develop new business architectures, and reinvent finance processes by re-engineering cognitive-fueled workflows,
  • Employ advances in transformational technology, including advances in AI, automation, blockchain, and IoT, and
  • Identify finance risks and mitigate them before they emerge.
